This report captures the main discussion points and findings of the B’huth Workshop on the ‘Emerging Role of Arab Gulf States’, held at the Royal Society, London, UK, on 1st May 2018. The workshop discussed the perceived transition from global unipolarity to multipolarity, the development of Asia and Russia’s ambitions in the international system, and how the Arab Gulf states might prepare and respond to these changes in the international system.
